Intern & Instructor — Code Ninjas LLC
Jul 2021 – Aug 2024

As an instructor at Code Ninjas, I mentored over 100 students ranging from kindergarten to high school, guiding them through a comprehensive computer science curriculum. My instruction bridged the gap between conceptual logic and practical application, helping students transition from block-based coding to text-based programming in languages like JavaScript, C#, and Lua. I frequently facilitated technical workshops focused on game development fundamentals using the Unity engine, demonstrating how abstract programming theories—such as object-oriented design and variable scope—translate into tangible, interactive software.
A significant portion of my role involved real-time technical mentorship and debugging. I worked side-by-side with students to troubleshoot complex projects, teaching them how to diagnose syntax errors and resolve logic bugs independently. Instead of simply fixing the code for them, I utilized these moments to foster critical thinking and resilience, guiding them through the process of error analysis. This experience not only solidified my own mastery of core concepts like loops, conditionals, and data structures but also sharpened my ability to communicate complex technical solutions to audiences with varying levels of proficiency.
